There’re lots to do this Christmas season, with concerts, shopping opportunities, and galas. Whether you plan to have it in Kigali, or upcountry, just be sure to have fun on Xmas.

Simba Supermarket, in partnership with Natty Dread, a famous reggae musician, will host the first ever Christmas party for the needy children. The date and venue for the concert will soon be revealed.

The free concert will feature various artists, including Kids’ Voice, Holy Jah Doves and Kitoko, among others.

According to Natty, the concert is the highlight of the season and several underprivileged children from within Kigali will be invited to a fun-filled day. The children will take home Christmas gifts and nice goodies, courtesy of Simba Supermarket.

Lucky Simba Supermarket staff and customers will also bag Xmas presents. The reggae star, Natty Dread, said he is excited to partner with the supermarket, to bring the ‘spirit of the season’ to the deprived children.

"I feel so good, because those children are part of our families. Thus, we have to create a conducive atmosphere for them to realize that the society cares about them,” Natty said.

The Pentecost /Rastafarian, who confessed to have been baptized thrice, added that as a Christian, he believes that it is biblical to give to the poor without expecting back.
Meanwhile, preparations for the concert are already in full gear, and the organisers are ready to pay back to the community.

Natty, 43, is also working on a project, which will help street children have a normal life.
