Fifa international friendly
Wednesday
Malawi vs Rwanda

AFTER fully recovering from a career threatening ankle injury, Mbuyu Twite a.k.a Eric Gasana has forced his way back into Amavubi Stars.

The versatile defender is expected to play his first game under Sellas Tetteh this Wednesday when Amavubi lock horns with Malawi in Blantyre.

With the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup round the corner, both teams are using the game as a build up to the event slated to run from November 27 to December 12 in Dar es Salaam and Mwanza.

This year, Malawi is one of three guest teams in the competition. The others are West African giants Ivory Coast and Zambia.

Last year, Amavubi Stars lost twice against the flames but Tetteh is looking to switch the scores in his favour.

Rayon Sport defender Aimable Rucogoza is the only notable absentee from the 17-man squad which flew out last night.

Amavubi Stars: Jean Luc Ndayishimiye, Evariste Mutuyimana, Jamal Mwiseneza, Jean Baptista Mugiraneza, Haruna Niyonzima, Tumaine Ntamuhanga, Clement Mukunzi, Albert Ngabo, Didier Kapet, Abuba Sibomana, Ismail Nshutiyamagara, Jean Claude Iranzi, Emmanuel Sebanani, Mbuyu Twite (Eric Gasana), Kipson Atuheire, Dady Birori and Louis Aniweta.
