Though he beat off stiff competition to finish in 4th place during the Individual Time Trial race on Friday, home favourite Adrien Niyonshuti will have to be at his very best to realise his dream of representing Africa at the 2012 London Olympics.

The top two riders in this morning’s final 144km race will automically represent the continent at the London Olympics and that has been Niyonshuti’s dream.
