Under the sponsorship of RDB, the Rwanda Business Development Centre (RBDC) has called on the public to register for an entrepreneurship programme aimed at nurturing entrepreneurs to start and sustain successful businesses with ethical values.

The programme which costs Rwf 150,000 is currently available for applicants of all ages, and will be conducted by experts from the American Regent University for a period of 16 weeks.

The Director of External Relations in RBDC, Chrystel Intaramirwa, revealed that the first group is almost completing the program and that registration is now open for the next session which will start in January 2011.

"The Programme combine world-class entrepreneurial training with a comprehensive package of services to support and advise entrepreneurs in their businesses,” Intaramirwa said in a statement.

"Upon completion of the programme, students will receive certificate from Regent University and will remain connected to a global network of business experts who provide consulting, encouragement and contacts.”

He added that the programme is designed for established entrepreneurs who want to expand their businesses but most importantly, for young entrepreneurs and graduates who are running businesses at an early start-up stage and want to learn how to sustain them successfully.

RBDC is a joint project of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce, which has branches in 100 countries.
