Dear Editor,

According to a news story that ran in The New Times dated January 31 2008, the Prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone Stephen J. Rapp blasted the pre-1994 Rwandan government leaders for their corrupt tendencies, which he said contributed to the Rwanda Genocide.

However, due to this nasty experience, Rwanda has learnt her lessons of giving no room to corruption. The people of Rwanda now know what it costs to be corrupt and the consequences that come with it.

I hope that the president continues with the intolerance of this evil act.
