UKRAINE football side Metalits Kharikiv has confirmed their interest in APR defender Elvis Kafoteka, Times Sport has learnt.

The Malawi international has been enticed with a lucrative $15,500 (Rwf9, 065,000) monthly salary.

According to Malawi’s Daily Nation, Metalits Kharikiv stepped up the bid for Kafoteka by adding a $3000 to their initial $ 12500 monthly package.
According to Metalits, the offer comes on top of a paid flat and car.

Metalits Kharikiv is not the only side chasing for Kafoteka’s signature.

Fellow Ukrainian side Karpaty Lvivi and Laurissa of Greece are also interested.
Despite the reports, APR insist they have not been approached by any one.

"We have not received any official interest from any club,” APR’s Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa, said.
