AMAVUBI head coach Sellas Tetteh has backtracked on his decision not to field professionals in international friendlies.
The Ghanaian has made it clear that he will consider Rwanda’s foreign based players for next Wednesday’s friendly against Malawi in Blantyre.
"It’s a good platform to try out several players, systems, combinations; so I will make the most of it,” Tetteh said.
The pre-selected 17-man team regrouped, yesterday, for their first training session at Amahoro Stadium.
Meanwhile, Flames coach Kinnah ‘Electric’ Phiri has summoned 25 locally based players for the friendly.
The Flames, also happen to be one of three guest teams in Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup, where they are drawn in Group C alongside Kenya, Ethiopia and defending champions Uganda.
Notable faces in the team include MTL Wanderers goalkeeper Simplex Nthara and Red Lions engine Dave ‘Abambo’ Banda.
Kinnah has also selected in-form Wanderers raider Henry ‘Magetsi’ Kabichi and Civo United left back Emmanuel Zoya.
