Editor,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to what people from the Rwanda cinema Centre are doing currently. I think Eric Kabera and his colleagues deserve all the credit for the break through of Rwanda’s hillywood.

I just read an inspiring article about a new film ‘‘Africa united’’ where a red carpet was rolling at Serena hotel with what your reporter termed as a true Hillywood fashion.

Indeed, the event was memorable and a boost to our high profile social events. In our culture, as Rwandans, I think when we talk of modernization, we should always strive to do better and compete globally.

This is the most profitable and development move better than shows about lesbianism, homosexuality or some dangerous propaganda.

I believe Rwanda has come from the ashes and still needs such developmental innovations which will purify our culture other than tearing it a part.

The good indicator of this new film is that the film’s premier attracted top government officials, and the entire junior Rwanda national Football team. In many cases, many people underestimate such kind of events.
