The Dubai International Motor Show is an annual event that is normally held in November.  This features among others, the latest models of vehicles manufactured and released for the upcoming year. 

Normally, many manufactures release the coming year’s designs and models for sale in the last quarter of the year.  This is aimed at having the buyers enjoy the next year’s models at the turn of the year (as a new year’s gift). 

With the status of Dubai, as a central transit and distribution hub of the world, there is no doubt that Dubai hosts such an event!   

Dubai International Motor Show, the show offers a line-up of all new and re-designed or upgraded production models and concept cars from around the world. Dubai International Motor Show will be held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 10 to 14 Nov 2011.

This will feature all popular and existing products for the general public to view, test drive and make a decision.  It is a vehicle appetite rising event that any current or potential vehicle owner should never miss if he could afford to attend.  Among the target audience is, High-net-worth families & individuals, Executives & Businessmen, Overseas Buyers, Automobile Professionals, Corporate Buyers - CEOs, Decision Makers, Transport Operators, Tourism & Hospitality, Engineers, Technicians, Media & Press.

Top on the exhibition will be; Vehicle Manufacturers, Automotive Parts, Accessories & Components, Air Conditioning Systems, Batteries, Cooling Systems, Electromechanical Parts & Systems, Hand Tools, Hydraulic Systems, Maintenance Equipment, Petroleum Products, Lubricants, Pneumatic Systems, Power Tools, Safety Wear, Tyres, Transmission Systems, Wheel Alignment and any other items the go with vehicles, either complementary or supplementary. 

The exhibitors have to book in advance so that they can have the best locations possible.  It is the most successful ones that may leave Dubai smiling all the way to the banks!  Coming on the heels of the world economic downturn, there is a lot of anxiety both among the exhibitors as well as the potential customers.

It is greatly hoped that, the new generation of vehicles will address issues like fuel economy, reduction of pollution (green cars), cost effectiveness, etc.

Top on the list of exhibitors will be companies from countries like: Austria, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, UK, USA. Much as we may expect the Vehicle manufacturers to grace the show, accessories manufacturers also do play a great role in the motor industry. Items like tyres, alloy wheels, lubricants, air-conditioners, audio systems, repair kits, etc is normally outsourced from elsewhere!

All the companies engaged in the industry are collectively what make the industry tick!  If you can make it to Dubai, do not allow others to tell the tale, why not see it all, with your own eyes?
