THE Rastafarian community in Rwanda is preparing for a concert in tribute of the late Bongoman, who passed away last week from CHUK in Kigali.

Speaking to The New Times, Rasta Banamungu, a close friend to the deceased, confirmed that the concert will be held at Passadena, Gikondo, on Sunday, November 7, 2010. 

"He was a great man and we have to keep his legacy,” Rasta Banamungu said. He added that: "…Bongoman was a great friend of mine and we did several songs together, including the most recent one, Muturage mu matora, about the recent presidential campaigns.” 

Bongoman, real name Aloys Karahamuheto, died on October 30, at the age of 54.
