Gaelle is the new Captain.

Contestants at Tusker Project Fame learning to cope with each other as they elect a new captain and they all get a wonderful surprise from home. "I don’t think I’ve heard you say so many words in one sentence.”

Voice coach Kavutha told Rwanda’s Gaelle. She told her that she hadn’t heard her speak a lot ever since the contestants joined the Academy.

Gaelle is the new Captain and she is taking it all in stride. She is no longer the shy wallflower we have come to know but little Gaelle has blossomed into something much more.
She is very authoritative and took the housemates to task. She asked them to make sure that their mics were always on and correctly worn so that they wouldn't get into trouble again.

Meanwhile, Msechu is a man on a mission. He was talking with another Rwandan contestant,  Gaga, in the kitchen and he playfully told her that since she was now "just friends" with Davis he would like to file his request to be something more than friends.

During the house meeting, Gabiro the only male Rwandan representative, urged his fellow contestants to be polite to each other and treat each other like brothers and sisters.

He also noticed that the contestants may have beef amongst themselves but noted that it was time to let it go and focus on the tasks that they have ahead.

Contestants in the Academy have now come face to face with the reality that is Probation. Paleki cornered Kavutha after her session with the students and asked her whether she thought that she was the one going home this weekend. Kavutha encouraged her but she was also quite stern with her as she told her that she needed to be willing to learn from the Faculty as well.

This weekend, contestants are set to perform songs from 1980s-2000 pop, and the Faculty have availed a list of three songs for each of the contestants to choose from.

The list includes songs by musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Shanice, Natalie Imbruglia, Michael Bolton, Shania Twain and Cindy Lauper.

Yesterday evening, the contestants had a surprise waiting for them as they were able to receive phone calls from home.

Leah got to speak to her boyfriend and daughter, halfway through the conversation she started crying tears of joy as she has been missing her family.
