Dear Editor, My name is Richard Gasana and I live in Ireland. I have been away from my motherland for the past ten years and due to various reasons, I have not been able to return but will hopefully make it back home in December this year. Dear Editor,
My name is Richard Gasana and I live in Ireland. I have been away from my motherland for the past ten years and due to various reasons, I have not been able to return but will hopefully make it back home in December this year.
I am happy to let you know that even if I have been away from home for this long, I rarely feel lonely. Every morning, I am excited to wake up and read The New Times online.
We have been lucky that we can now even get Radio Rwanda online and with the updated news on The New Times website, we hardly feel homesick anymore.
I would also like to congratulate you for the Kinyarwanda news in the Izuba newspaper which is also published by you. My young son can now read and write Kinyarwanda; thanks to the updated website.
We may be very far from home but we have not felt lonely or ‘behind the news’ when it comes to our motherland. I would like to congratulate you and thank you for the good work that you continue to do as you bring us up todate on what is happening back home.
My God bless the work of your hands.
