I see no reason as to why most examination centres in Rwanda do not have clocks in the respective rooms where candidates are sitting exams.

All schools should have clocks placed at the front of every examination room where all students can view the time.

This helps these students to keep time especially while on pressure to perform well. Not knowing the exact time while candidates do an examination is quite scary.

For these candidates to pass an exam they need to allocate a specific amount of time to certain questions and sections of the paper so that they do not dwell longer on questions that do not carry so much marks.

The lack of clocks only leads to unfinished exams due to poor time management. Therefore all schools should have at least a clock in every examination room before the national examinations for the O’ and A’ level’s begin tomorrow.

If schools cannot afford these clocks, at least the examination invigilators should have the fairness to alert students on time every 30 minutes.
