"DIVORCE is forever!!” Paleki said this to Steve after Amileena asked him to be her date for Date Night at the Academy.
The contestants were presented with their task for this week during Edu’s class, they were asked to hook up with one of their fellow housemates.
With seven girls left for five boys, two of the boys had to go the polygamous route. Juveh was quite ready to have two dates for Date Night, as Paleki and Amileena almost had a fight over Steve.
Resident lovebirds, Davis and Gaga, went their separate ways, and we wonder, is this the beginning of the end for them? As per the task, the girls were supposed to ask the boys out for the Barbeque Date night on Thursday.
Gaelle of Rwanda ended up with Davis after a weird twist of fate and Gaga chose to ask Juveh from Kenya to be her date.
Paleki and Steve had already been paired up for the duets on Sunday night and she thought she was a shoe in as his date for Thursday but she had a rude shock.
Amileena sweetly informed her to keep her hands off her man as she was first on the scene as Steve hung his head in embarrassment at his predicament. Leah strongly supported Ami’s cause summarily frustrating Paleki further.
Tensions and emotions are running high in the house; this was sharply evident the previous day during Rkay’s class, when he told the students off being late to his Music Director’s class.
The fact that Msechu and Gaelle forgot to carry their hand-written lyrics to class was the last straw for Rkay.
As Msechu fumbled with the words to his song and generally had a poor rehearsal, Rkay’s words seemed to touch a nerve and he fled to his room in tears.
Emotions have been running high this week, and the cracks in the various contestants’ seemingly smooth façades begin to appear.
Hopefully they will be able to hold it together and keep from falling apart during this weekend’s live shows.
