UKRAINE based midfielder Sani Kaita has been recalled by Nigeria for their friendly against Iran on November 17 in Tehran. It will be Kaita’s first game for the Super Eagles since his sending off against Greece at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Three uncapped players Michael Odibe, Edward Ofere and Fengor Ogude have also been handed call-ups.
But there is no place for Captain Joseph Yobo and John Obi Mikel.

The squad of 20 players is made up of 13 players from Europe and seven from the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
After weeks of uncertainty surrounding the fixture due to Nigeria’s suspension by Fifa, the game has finally been given a go-ahead.

"The game will take place in Tehran and both countries have signed the contract,” NFF spokesman Robinson Okosun told BBC Sport.
