Players abroad: Kagere hits double as Emeran scores for Manchester United

Experienced striker Meddie Kagere put up a man-of-the-match performance during Singida Big Stars’s win over Ruvu Shooting while Noam Eeran hit the winner during Manchester United U21’s win over Blackburn Rovers.

Tanzania

The Rwanda international stole the show as his two goals, in the seventh and 82nd minute, were enough to help Singida Big Stars beat Ruvu Shooting 2-0 and knock them out of the Tanzanian FA Cup on Saturday.

Hakim Sahabo continued his impressive form as he opened the scores in the 40th minute during Lilles U19’s 1-1 draw against Saint Priest FC in the French Gambardella Cup.

He also scored his penalty to help his side progress to the next round after winning 5-4 on penalty shoot outs.

Right back Warren Kamanzi replaced Mikkel Desler in the 80th minute as his team Toulouse FC went on to beat Strasbourg 2-1.

Belgium

Central midfielder Samuel Gueulette was not involved in Raal La Louviere 1-1 draw with Thes Sports in the Belgian third tier.

In the Challenger League, Djihad Bizimana was not in the KMSK Deinze team that beat Club Brugge U21 by two goals to one.

Morocco

Left back Emmanuel Imanishimwe played all 90 minutes for AS FAR Rabat who beat MC Oujda 3-2 in the Moroccan Premier League.

England

Noam Emeran scored a match winner in Manchester United U21’s 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers U21 before making way for substitute Toby Collyer in the 82nd minute.

Burundi

Ally Niyonzima was in action for Bumamuru FC in their 4-0 win over Atletico Academy.
