On Sunday night, Tusker Project Fame 4 contestants treated viewers to a reggae night show as they performed a variety of old and new hits.

Kenya was unlucky to have all its representatives; Amileena, Steve and Juvenalis on probation. In the same group, for the second time, was Rwanda’s Gabiro.

Gabiro had a rough time as the audience remained quiet during his performance of Maxi Priest’s "Wild World-” with Judge Ian summing it up as the worst performance of the night.

Ian also told Steve that his rendition of "Together as One” by Lucky Dube was his worst performance; he also had issues with his dressing.

On the other hand, Amileena was slammed by the judges as they all suggested she cease showing-off with her voice and desist from over-singing.
The teams from Tanzania and Uganda, and Rwanda’s Gaga have so far evaded falling into the probation trap, as they all had stellar performances and managed to impress the judges.

In particular, Judge Juliana complimented Rachel of Uganda on her singing, telling her that she was born to sing.
Davis wowed the crowd as always and gave a powerful rendition of "Usizi” by Lucky Dube and the Slaves.

Paleki, the remaining Southern Sudanese in the Academy, almost landed in jeopardy when her song choice was negatively critiqued by the judges, although Music Director R-Kay, whom she claims to have a crush on, was quick to defend her choice stating that contestants should be able to sing whatever song is selected for them.

Nazizi spiced up the show

The viewers had the rare delight of having Nazizi of Necessary Noize, perform her hit song, "Jump and Shout”.
She was on hand to encourage the contestants and also gave them some tips on how to handle a performance in front of an audience. Nazizi was a special guest for dinner with the contestants, at the Academy.

Back on stage, Aneth gave a notably good rendition of Cecile’s hit song "I’m waiting”. Her hip gyrations may have irked Ian, but Edu the Academy dance choreographer defended her, saying that her performance was great.

Gaelle had a lovely performance which saved her from further probation, although Judge Ian told her that he thought she was still holding back and she seemed a bit shaky on stage.
