For those with an ear for great music and an eye for spending performances, the gospel gala night held, Saturday, at the Women Foundation Ministries at Kimihurura did not disappoint. You did not have to be a fan for gospel music to appreciate what the gala organisers had prepared for the night. The performers did not disappoint.
 

After the performances, the Minister of Youth, Protais Mitali pledged to support the youth with talent in order to empower them realise their full potential.

The event organized by the Youth Impact association and Smile Down Programmes was aimed at showcasing the impact of the youth as well as raising money for orphans.

Mitali pledged to collaborate with Youth Impact to raise youth with various talents and help in sensitizing them to be innovative. He said this after awarding "Ingazo ngari”, a cultural dance troupe and Dady de Maximo, a fashion designer, for successfully exploiting their talents.

The event was graced by various splendid performances from Aime Uwimana, The Sisters, Cynthia Akazuba and Passionate Ambassadors, a creative dance group. Aline Gahongayire and Dady de Maximo were the masters of ceremony and they did not disappoint.

However, the poor sound system almost spoilt the party for some artists and the audience. Overall, it was gala that rocked.
