{The Government of Rwanda, through the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) is organizing the biennial Government of Rwanda and Development Partners Meeting (DPM) which will be held on 4th and 5th November 2010 at the Kigali Serena Hotel. This conference is a high-level strategic forum for dialogue between the Government of Rwanda and its Development Partners on policy issues relating to their cooperation partnerships and how they affect the implementation of the Government’s development agenda through effectiveness aid management.

This year’s theme is "Effective Aid to leverage Private Investments and meet the Millennium Development Goals”. This conference is expected to draw approximately 350 participants from a cross-section of high-level Government and Development Partners based locally and from their respective headquarters. The objective of this high-level meeting this year is to seek commitments from Government of Rwanda and Development Partners as to how we can improve effectiveness of aid jointly with the view to maximizing impacts on the livelihood of Rwandans. }
