Plot: A highly advanced robotic boy longs to become "real” so that he can regain the love of his human mother. At a time when technology is so advanced that robots are a common sight, a robot developer seeks to even take it further by developing a robot that can love and feel like a human. This movie is a story of David, a robotic boy whose love for his mother drives him drives him to seek acceptance and love by his human family.

Verdict: Although the film itself and its interesting pace keep us believing that David’s love is real, it is impossible to be intellectually honest and come to that conclusion. But the movie is well shot, bringing out the need for love, acceptance, and loneliness in a young boy’s life that at times you tend to forget that he is a robot.  However, I find the ending too much unreal, which leaves the film with that "wrap-it-up” feeling.
