At the end of the three-day course, the federation’s national technical director, Gerald Nsenga thanked the trainees and asked them to be seeds of rugby development.

At the end of the three-day course, the federation’s national technical director, Gerald Nsenga thanked the trainees and asked them to be seeds of rugby development.
"It was not cheap ensuring that we get this training, don’t render it a waste. Be like trees, spread out your branches and put in practice what you have learnt,” Nsenga said.
Federation president, Otto Vianney Muhinda, also requested the IRB trainers; John Bosco Muamba and Erick Situma, to deliver a message to the International Rugby Board and Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR).
"Please tell IRB and CAR to send more trainers. We also need a ground and Club house where we can play from and plan the development of rugby in the country,” he said.
"We have a plan to speed up the game’s growth starting with schools and universities,” he added.
One of the participants, Hassan Moise, expressed his appreciation for the training; "I learnt a lot and hope to put it in practice.”
