I have always written for you articles about how to pray, but I forgot one important thing to guide you through your prayers. It is important to teach you how to know God. This will highlight to you who God is and how to know that He is real through His works.

Firstly, God is the creator of heaven and earth, day and night, man and woman. In fact, He is the creator of all things in heaven and earth, good or bad. Everything God created was for a reason.

Therefore, there is no need to curse when some thing bad happens to you. You only need to pray and ask for a better thing.

God said "whoever will ask shall be given.”

So ask Him and have faith that you will be given. It does not matter when. After Adam and Eve had sinned in the Garden of Eden, God had to find a way to let us know who he really is. So, decided to choose Abraham.

God told Abraham as he was; therefore he along his family became God’s "Chosen People.” It is not that they were better than anyone else. No, God chose them not because they were so great, but because God is so great.

God chose Abraham and his family to show us who really He is and blessed them with things. When God blessed them with good things, it meant that God is good, and can do any thing to make life easy.

When God punished them, we learn what God thinks it is right to punish when someone is in wrong. When we hear the stories of the things God has done, that is how we know that God is real.

That is how we know who God is. But apart from lessons learnt from the stories of Abraham and his family, what is more important to know is the coming of know Jesus; whom God sent to redeem the world from its sinful nature.

And because Jesus was sent by God, it confirms that his is really God’s son, who came to earth to make a way for us to live with God forever. The bible says that whoever believes in HIM (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life.

Everything in heaven and earth are all upon God’s mercy and guidance, which shows just how much God loves us after all that sinful background. His is the beginning (alpha) and the end (omega).

It is only through prayers that we can understand God and His works.
