PM Makuza to grace academies tourney final

Prime Minister Bernard Makuza will grace the final of the inter-academies football tournament. The three-day tourney which started on Friday and ends this morning at Amahoro stadium, was organized by the Kigali-based Vision football Academy.

Prime Minister Bernard Makuza will grace the final of the inter-academies football tournament. The three-day tourney which started on Friday and ends this morning at Amahoro stadium, was organized by the Kigali-based Vision football Academy.

The tournament attracted 12 academy teams from Rwanda, DRC and Uganda, which include: Police, APR, Kiyovu, Kimisagara, Ferwafa, Esperance, Sec F.C, Shining F.C, Uganda’s Proline and the DRC pair of Goma and Bukavu.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the event, along side Makuza wil be sports minister Joseph Makuza, Ferwafa boss Jean Bosco Kazura, and Cecafa’s Caf representative Celestin Musabyimana.

According to Vision Group manager John Paul Mudaheranwa, the tournament was organised with an aim of spotting raw talent among the youthful players.
