The local rugby federation (RRF) is set to hold its Annual General Assembly at Amahoro Stadium this afternoon.

According to the federation’s secretary general Paul Ogaa, top on the agenda is to elect a new executive committee and discuss the affairs of the federation."Elections will be held for the following posts; president, 1st vice president, 2nd vice president, secretary general, treasurer, technical director, assistant technical director and two commissioners,” Ogaa said before adding, "the entire rugby fraternity is welcome but voting is restricted to members only”.

Last year, there was very little to cherish in local rugby and many believe that the federation’s poor leadership had a hand in this.

Meanwhile, Rwanda looks set for a busy 2008 after being invited in three different regional tournaments.
