Listening to the Prime Minister Bernard Makuza as he unveiled the government’s roadmap to be followed to ensure that the country is transformed into a middle income nation before 2017, I couldn’t help but feel proud of my leaders. 

They could have said that we’ll do all we can to ensure that Rwanda is a middle-income nation by 2020, as was stated in the Vision2020 development plan, however, our leaders have decided to push even harder and make the ten year goals happen in less than seven.

I want to tell my leaders that I, personally, will do all I can to fulfil this new target.
