As they celebrate five years of doing music, Juda Muzik duo of Junior and Darest have released their volume of five songs dubbed ‘5 Blessings of Juda.’ The volume collection of collaborations made last year.
According to the duo, real names Junior Alex Mbaraga and Prince Ishimwe, ‘5’ is a representation of the five years they have been doing music, hence the number of songs on their Collaboration Volume.
"It has been three years of solo music and our fans have always been asking us for collaborations. Some people also think that music groups are not really active nowadays, so we did this to give the Rwandan music lovers what they truly deserve,” said Da Rest.
The songs on the volume include ‘Too Much’, ‘Ntuzarira Remix’, ‘Body Guard’, ‘Impore’ and ‘Impamvu’. Collaborating artistes are Rwandan singers and others from different countries. For Instance, the first song ‘Too Much’ featured a renowned Burundian artist, Alvin Smith.
The duo was however quick to add that they will release one song on the volume at a time. They also added that in between, they will launch their debut album.
"We won’t put out all the songs on the collaboration volume at once, we are releasing ‘Too Much’ on Monday and others will follow. In the meantime, expect our debut album in between.”
