I’m pleased the government is planning to phase out the flimsy laissez passez and begin issuing electronic provisional passports. I used to have one of these documents and the despite their affordable price, they were cumbersome and ridiculous to look at. I always felt ashamed whenever I got to the border and opened it like a text book to get it stamped. Well, with this planned electronic laissez passez, I will be able to use it with pride.
