This letter is in reference to your article in yesterday’s newspaper titled "Financial sector soundness improves significantly - Central Bank ".It is indeed very satisfying to see a marked improvement in the financial situation within the country.

As remarked by Francois Kanimba , Governor , Central Bank , the average capacity adequacy ratio within  the banking system is higher than 15 percent and this financial sector soundness surely augurs well for the New Rwanda.   
The country is now poised to take giant strides in all round development and a sound banking and financial sector will only serve as a catalyst for rapid growth. Indian Companies would be happy to engage more with Rwandan counterparts and a higher level of interaction would facilitate the entire process.

The Indian Merchants’ Chamber is hosting the 5th International Banking and Finance Conference in November, 2010. We would be very happy to welcome Rwandan banks and companies in the financial sector to participate and benefit from the robust Indian economy.
