WHILE Amavubi head coach Sellas Tetteh is certain to hang on to his job irrespective of the outcome of Saturday’s 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Benin at Amahoro stadium, his opposite number Jean-Marc Nobilo’s job is on the line according to Benin newspaper ‘La Montagne’.

The Squirrels, who flew in Wednesday afternoon and had a light training session yesterday afternoon at Ferwafa artificial turf, are currently third in Group H after drawing with Burundi in Porto-Novo last month and according to La Montagne, one of Benin’s daily newspapers, the president of Benin football Federation Anjorin Musharraf recently hinted about relieving Nobilo of his duties if the team fails to grind out a win tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Amavubi captain Haruna Niyonzima has stoked up the fire ahead of the must win tie by saying that the wasps are not afraid of the Squirrels, who boast of a number of foreign based players.

"We definitely have respect for Benin, but we are not scared of their players. We have our game plan and are going to stick to it because we have to win this match,” the winger said.

"The atmosphere in the dressing room has never been better. Everyone is ready to give their all come Saturday,” Niyonzima added.

Rwanda is chasing for a second appearance at the Nations Cup, while Benin is eyeing a fourth. Amavubi got their campaign off to a poor start after their away 3-0 defeat at the hands of Ivory Coast.
