AMAVUBI head coach Sellas Tetteh has confirmed that he will not make any more additions to the national side after yesterday’s 2-0 win over Kiyovu at Amahoro stadium.

The wasps put in a much more improved display compared to last week’s friendly against Rayon Sport which ended in a 2-all draw.

Amavubi’s wonderkid Kipson Atuhaire scored the opening goal on the 15th minute to further prove why reigning Primus league champions APR are desperate to lure him to the army club.

The 17-year-old striker could have doubled and probably tripled Amavubi’s advantage but failed to convert his chances to keep the score line 1-0 at half time.

Similar to the first half, Amavubi looked very comfortable on the ball after the break -making a string of accurate passes that left on-looking fans applauding.

Midway through the second half, substitute Jean Claude Iranzi’s one-two with Captain Haruna Niyonzima split the Kiyovu defence allowing the winger to double Amavubi’s lead.

Thereafter, Amavubi players continued to dazzle the crowd with brilliant movement off the ball much to the delight of Tetteh.

After the match, the Ghanaian said that the team’s performance proved that they would prevail without the foreign-based players.

"Today, we saw a completely different side from the one that played Rayon last week. The defence was rock solid and we created plenty of chances upfront. This is a team on the up and I expect a good show on Saturday,” Tetteh said.

Commenting on the pros, he said, "We had Boubakary Saddou in mind but he is injured while Elias Uzamukunda a.k.a baby would only arrive on the eve (Friday) of the game - which is more of a gamble.”

Rwanda, who suffered a 3-0 defeat in their opening 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast, take on Benin this Saturday at Amahoro Stadium.

Benin’s Squirrels jetted in yesterday and are staying at Laico Umubano hotel. The West Africans were surprisingly held to a 1-all draw by Burundi in their opening qualifier.
