The show commenced just before midnight and the singer belted out almost all his songs.
It was the launch of Rwanda Night, and it is claimed that there was no one who could have electrified the passionate Rwandan music fans more than Massamba.
The ‘Nyeganyega’ singer, who had travelled to Uganda ahead of the event, was invited courtesy of George Mugabo, the club owner.
Fans had travelled from as far as Burundi, Rwanda, and Tanzania purposely to attend Rwanda Night in Kampala.
"I came all the way from Burundi to attend Intore Massamba’s performance because I love his music,” said one of Massamba’s diehards.
Shortly after his performance, fans were given a chance to rub shoulders with the star, and request for autographs.
The show attraced different personalities, including diplomats and the country’s high-ranking officials.
Babadaba, who performed immediately after Massamba, was upset when the revellers starting departing after the latter’s gig.
Speaking at the launch, the Rwanda Night manager George Mugabo said he was ready to promote Rwandan music by inviting more Rwandan artists to compete with regional musicians to promote their music.
