Rwanda’s Zouk sensation Christopher and his band The Target are awaited in Europe where they are expected to perform in different cities starting from February.
One of the band members confirmed the development to The New Times on Wednesday, January 23, saying that the concerts will be held in different countries starting February and ending in March 2023.
The band, made up of David the bassist, Raphael the drummer, Jules Hirwa and Emma GFlat, is one of the leading music bands in town, having played for Mike Kayihura, Buravan, Rema of Nigeria among others.
Singer Christopher also told The New Times that the main purpose of the tour is to take his sound to different places and interact with his fans around the world.
The concerts will be held in different countries, the artist said, and they will announce the cities and countries that they will perform in soon.
"Some things have been approved, but not everything is finished. In the coming days, I will give you a list of what I will do there together with my team," he said.
The artist will be returning to Europe after his concerts that he staged there on December 31, 2013, November 5, 2016 and his last concert in 2017.
Christopher, who is preparing to perform in Europe, is one of the latest trends these days, especially since he was one of the top musicians of 2022 who made the greatest comeback.
Some of his songs making rounds in Kigali include, ‘Nibido’, ‘Micasa’ that have been trending in Rwanda for days and ‘Hashtag’.
