Hello Dr. Innocent

I have this guy that I have been in a serious relationship with for one and a half years. However about a month ago he started cutting off all communication without reason. What hurts more is that I have been told by friends that they have seen him with some other girl several times. My friends say that he even comes to visit this girl at her hostel. I love him so much but I do not know what to do. Please advise.

One thing in life is that people have failed to do is to differentiate between feelings and reality. If we could find the difference between the two; then life could be less complicated. The issue with the man you love is just around the above statement. I would recommend that you walk straight to this guy and ask him exactly what is going on.

What your friends are saying should not give you the conclusion to the entire episode. Try to talk to him and find out exactly what is going on with him and the girl your friends are saying that he is seeing. Let him be honest with you about his feelings. If he wants to call it quits, please move on.
