Christ Embassy yesterday unveiled its "2010 Reach Out Rwanda” campaign, focusing on promoting the unity of Rwandans as well as patriotism in Kigali.
According to the Church, this is an annual program carried out to reach people with God’s word by distributing free copies of Rhapsody of Realities – "the number one daily devotional booklet in the world today,” and a product of Christ Embassy.
"This is one of the greatest bible guides I have ever seen and used; it is a very educative, very challenging and comforting booklet,” said Dr. Charles Muligande, the Minister of Education and a devout Christian, who was guest of honor at the ceremony.
Pastor Jones Adams of Christ Embassy noted that this year’s theme is nation building and promoting patriotism.
The international Church believes that Rwanda can be built by Rwandans and, in this year’s reach out campaign, it is involving "other churches and ministries in order to promote national unity.”
Christ Embassy has been in Rwanda since 2007.
"This is a time to bless our country – if we believe in ourselves, then the labor of our heroes past will not be in vain. Let us do something to take the next generation forward,” Pastor Adams urged enthusiastic guests.
The Rhapsody of Realities has been translated and printed in 100 different world languages including Kinyarwanda.
This year, the Church says it plans to reach the entire country, distributing free copies of its devotional booklet in schools, hospitals, prisons, on streets and other places.
Christ Embassy maintains that since its inception 10 years ago, Rhapsody of Realities has been a daily guide and veritable road map to a life of success and victory for its readers, worldwide.
The devotional booklet (Rhapsody of Realities) is also available in other variants such as Rhapsody of Realities Bible, Rhapsody of Realities Topical Compendium, A-Rhapsody, E-Rhapsody, and Rhapsody of Realities for Kids.
