There will be fireworks when NUR host APR at the National University of Rwanda courts today in a match that will determine the destiny of the 2010 league title.

APR have won the league title three years in a row and currently have a two -point lead, while NUR will be desperate not to go a fourth year clinching some league glory.

That’s why NUR head coach Fidele Mirimana has called on the club fans to make it an intimidating atmosphere for the champions.

"Everybody at the club wants us to win this match. It would be special if we won the league title on our home ground.

"All the players are in good shape and I call upon the club fans to make it an intimidating atmosphere for APR,” Mirimana said.

Meanwhile, APR coach Sammy Mulinge is also desperate to win a trophy with the club in his first season.
"Our main priority is to retain the league title, and that is what we will be aiming for tomorrow (today).

"I promised this club that I would steer them to league glory and that will be my priority,” Mulinge told Times Sport by telephone yesterday.

In the women’s fray, Rwanda Revenue Authority, who have already won the league will play their last league match of the season against Ruhango.
