Rwanda international Ange Mutsinzi has filed a lawsuit at the Judicial Court of the District of Porto against Portuguese second tier side CD Trofense due to salary arrears that the club owes him.
Reputable Portuguese sports website "Record" on Tuesday, reported that the Rwanda international claims the second tier club owes him an amount of 20,542.25 euros in bonuses and salary.
Mutsinzi terminated his contract with Trofense in December and made it public through the Portuguese media that the club owes him Euros 20,542.25 worth of bonuses and wages.
His move, however, did not go down well with his former employers who claimed that they paid the player all his arrears before leaving the club.
The Judicial Court of the District of Porto is expected to call and hear from both parties this week to provide evidence on the case.
Mutsinzi joined CD Trofense from Rwandan champions APR in August 2021 and rose to become a key player of the side before annulling his contract in December 2022.
In all, he made 31 appearances for the club and scored one goal.
