Equity Market

This week, the Rwanda OTC market was quiet as no transactions were recorded. KCB shares remained at Rwf 147.  At the end of the session on Thursday, there were no bids or offers.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 18.50 Kshs (Rwf 134) and a high of 19.35 Kshs (Rwf 141).  On Thursday, a total of 7,049,800 KCB shares were traded and closed at 18.95 Kshs (138 Rfw). The NSE All share index closed the week higher at 95.56 compared to the previous week’s closing of 97.70.

The Bond Market:

No transactions were recorded. At the close of business on Friday, there was a bid of Rwf  100 million government bonds at 98.237 and there were no sellers.
There was no transaction on the BCR bond
