Amb. KABALE presents credentials at Francophonie

Rwanda’s Ambassador to France, Jacques Kabale, on Thursday presented his credentials to Abdou Diouf, former President of Senegal and current Secretary General of the Francophonie, the organisation of French-speaking countries.

Rwanda’s Ambassador to France, Jacques Kabale, on Thursday presented his credentials to Abdou Diouf, former President of Senegal and current Secretary General of the Francophonie, the organisation of French-speaking countries.

Kabale conveyed a message of appreciation from President Paul Kagame and his willingness to strengthen cooperation with the Francophonie in solidarity and mutual respect.
He thanked President Diouf and his organization for their participation in the electoral process as well as in various areas like FESPAD and the Reading Committee.

Diouf congratulated President Kagame for his election to a second term and wished him success. He added that he highly appreciated the positive development which Kagame had initiated for the people of Rwanda.

The former Senegalese President conveyed his support for President Kagame’s vision and projects for Rwanda and Africa.

During the meeting, President Abdou Diouf handed over to Ambassador Kabale the organization’s report on the last presidential elections.

The Francophonie sent a mission to observe the elections and the just concluded report will be officially presented during the Francophonie’s political commission assembly scheduled for September 28 in Paris.
