I am happy to have read  in your newspaper that the government was doing all it can to make sure that the removal of asbestos roofing from public buildings is being done in a safe manner. Asbestos roofing, and asbestos itself, isn’t harmful as long as it isn’t disposed of in an unsafe manner.

My worry was that the general public would attempt to dispose of the asbestos roofing on their houses without the proper safety equipment. I am happy that the relevant ministry is watching the situation.
