Jane Ingabire Butera, famous by her stage name Knowles is an upcoming R&B diva. 

Like most successful artists, Knowles developed her talent from Sunday school before she joined Maranatha, a famous Adventist choir in Kigali.

The 19-year-old beauteous ventured into the country’s music industry as a secular solo artist in 2010 and, has already released more than four hits.

Knowles is a student at APACE, offering Computer Science and Management. If she is not busy in the studio, on stage, or in the laboratory carrying out experiments, Knowles considers her free time equally important.

She is has got it all—the vocal talent, brains, as well as the looks. What else dudes, Knowles is a typically humble and down-to-earth person.

The beauteous teen, who starred in Tom Close’s latest video ‘Impanvu’ loves hanging out with friends and adventuring. 

Things you did not know about Knowles
She is the first and only child to Butera Jean-Marie and Claire Uwiyambajye.

She was born in Nyamirambo, a suburb of Kigali city.
She adopted her stage name ‘Knowles’ make a point to her friends and parents, who discouraged her from venturing into secular music.

She recorded her first track ‘Nyumva’ meaning ‘Listen to me’ as a dedication to her friend, whose relationship with her boyfriend was at the edge.

The ‘Nyumva’ track was recorded from Unlimited Studio. 
She hates to be a failure in life.

She is not very emotional and doesn’t easily cry.
She loves action and romantic movies, and reading.
Her biggest ambition is to become successful and lead a decent lifestyle.

Her ideal man must be honest, understanding and God-fearing

She wishes to be a mother of only two children (a boy and girl).

Brandy and Cecile Kayirebwa are her biggest inspiration—the latter because she is a true traditional Rwandan female artist.

She is dating Safi, a member of the Urban Boyz group.
