The ongoing International Trade Fair Expo 2010 which was scheduled to be officially closed on Monday next week has been extended for two more days to enable it to benefit from guests expected in the country for the swearing-in ceremony of President Paul Kagame. 

This was revealed by Ephraim Karangwa, the exhibitions and fairs manager at PSF, the organizers of the expo.
"We had anticipated 12 days for the exhibition but we extended it due to the swearing-in ceremony for which we are expecting more guests,” Karangwa said.

"Given the Heads of State that are coming, we expect more guests will visit the Expo after the ceremony.”

The government announced that by yesterday, at least 16 African Heads of State had confirmed their attendance. 
Karangwa added that this year’s trade fair has been fruitful and vibrant compared to last year’s where some companies and traders were still recovering from the global financial crisis.

This year’s Expo attracted over 139 foreign companies and close to 300 local exhibitors,
