The 40-year-old musician famously known as Alain Muku, is not just any upcoming artist, he has tasted the waters: He is a prosecutor, songwriter, singer and producer.
Speaking to The New Times, Alain Muku said the albums will be penciled for release on October 1, 2010. He started writing songs in 2002, but had never released any album.
One of Alain Muku’s tracks ‘Tsinda batsinda’ was released in the fall of 2003 and is still a hit today.
After the release of the ‘Tsinda batsinda’, a morale boosting track meaning ‘win’, Alain Muku followed it with ‘Murekatete’ which spun on the airwaves and became one of the most successful singles of 2003.
"Some artists confuse issues. It doesn’t make sense to launch an album or single which is not known by anyone,” Alain Muku said adding that, "It’s better to market it first and launch later.”
Most of his singles are composed to the rhythm of Zouk.
