Rwanda's sensational afro beat singer Mani Martin has released his 6th album dubbed 'Nomade' comprising eight songs.
Mani Martin is a Rwandan singer, songwriter, actor and performing artiste who has won numerous awards over the years. His unique musical sound that reflects the Afro-fusion, urban and traditional sounds has received national and international attention and is regarded as one of the best live music performing artistes in the Rwandan music scene. He sings in Kinyarwanda, Kiswahili, English and French.
"Nomade was inspired by the reflection of my childhood which makes me relate to the humans on this planet earth who live a life with no physical home, moving from a place to another, searching for greener grass to survive, I came to find home in familiarity that comes with loving and being loved back wherever you might find yourself," he said.
He said that putting sounds together from Rwanda, Guinea Conakry, Congo Brazaville, and Belgium, was a wonderful experience, especially with the Covid 19 pandemic that happened during the creation of this album.
Mani Martin collaborated with artistes on the album like Soul Bang from Guinea and Bill Ruzima. The album which was produced by MadeBeats while the sound, mixing and mastering was done by Bob Pro and Niz Beats, Bill Ruzima, Deborah Humura, Peace Hoziyana and Patrick Nyamitari are a big part of the vocals on the album.
Among other people who participated on the album include Clement The Guitarist, Andy Bumuntu, Freddy Massamba, Christian Mugisha (drummer), Sam Ishimwe and Adam (base players) and Eugene (violinist). Steve Touch from Symphony band and Nehemie Shami spiced the album with their special touches on the keyboard as well.
The album is now on his YouTube channel and all music streaming platforms.
Nomade album is Mani Martin's sixth studio album after his memorable ones such us 'Afro' which he released in 2017, 'My Destiny' released in 2012, 'Intero Y'Amahoro' released in 2011, 'Icyo Dupfana' which was released in 2010 and his first album 'Isaha ya 9' released in 2008.
