Colombe Ituze Ndutiye is one of the upcoming top Rwandan designers. Ndutiye’s collections comprise a traditional and modern touch. Her art works exhibit a highly artistic creativity and her designs can say it all that she is nothing, but a talent fashion designer.

Whether you want casual or formal design, Ndutiye has all the latest trends straight off the runway, designed exclusively for you. Colour equals confidence, so be bold this season with edgy neon flashes, tight-fitting tops and bright skinny jeans.

Ndutiye is the owner of INCO, which bears a Kinyarwanda slogan "Icyusa” to mean Beauty.

Surprisingly, Ndutiye has never attended any fashion school, but just taught herself with tips from the Internet and fashion magazines.

She claims that she is mainly inspired by nature, the community, daily life and artists, including architecture. Ndutiye wants to expand her label by designing clothes for all people.

"Wedding design is not my specialty, but I can also provide wedding attires but that doesn’t mean that I am limited on that,” Colombe said.

Meanwhile, Ndutiye recently participated in the Rwanda Fashion Festival and she was recognised as the youngest designer. While at the event, she displayed her collections comprising cultural and modern collections.

"It was really important for me to participate in the fashion festival, because I got to meet with regional and international professional designers,” Ndutiye says.

"The event also gave me an opportunity to showcase my art works and I also gained a lot of tips from the pros.”

The 21-year old Ndutiye is a student at National Computing Centre (NCC), in the faculty of Information and Technology (IT).
