Through you paper I would like to thank the government for intervening in the issue of transport hike.

The recent increase in public transport fares was going to be hard on my pocket and I am sure for many other people too. The reason why the prices were increased was to ease congestion downtown. But, with the continued congestion, another solution had to be sought.

In the meantime, a decision was made to return to the original fare and for that I would like to acknowledge all those involved in taking action so fast.
