As Tom Close wraps up work on the video ‘Mama wabana’ with Uganda’s music group Goodlyfe and his new album ‘Impamvu’, music fans should anticipate an incredible package.
In an interview with The New Times, Tom Close’s manager, Alex Muyoboke, said the video will be released tomorrow. The album was produced by a renowned Ugandan music producer Washington.
The long-awaited 12 track album (CD&DVD) will be launched in November this year.

Hot local R&B singer Knowles, who stars in Tom Close’s video ‘‘Impamvu’, is sporting hot pants, and a black mini dress.
It is rumoured that the singer chose Knowles because of her striking looks.
Commenting as to why Tom Close decided to produce his album in Uganda, Muyoboke explained that it’s because they wanted to give their fans quality music.
"We’re doing professional music and we have to look for quality studios and professional producers,” he added.
In addition, Tom Close also shed some light on the progress of the album, commenting that shooting wrapped up and that the project is in its editing and mastering phase.
Rumours
Tom Close’s manager also took some time to clear the air surrounding reports that the R&B singer is not in good terms with some local artists.
"He doesn’t have any problem with any artists…,” Muyoboke said.
