Local celebrated artist, Rafiki is set to release his new album titled ‘Gikomando’, in December. According to the self-claimed Coga Style, the album will be comprised of audio and video tracks from three singles, including his own two hits ‘Gikomando’, ‘Mawazo’ and ‘Dusenge’ a single featuring East African maestro artist, Jose Chameleon.

The songwriter/singer, who is also known for his mastery of fruity loops, is planning a concert for his album launch. Two-time winner of the paM awards, Rafiki is among the country’s famous and recognised artists.
Speaking exclusively to The New Times, Rafiki cleared the controversy surrounding his long time silence.
"I’m busy making hot stuff that will not only rock Kigali but the rest of East Africa,” he said.
The ‘Igikosi’ singer has made a name through his chartbuster hits, including ‘Igitwenge’, ‘Igipende’, ‘Icaro’, ‘Icyambere icyakabiri’, ‘Igikobwa’, and ‘Bagambe’.
