MISS Rwanda, Grace Bahati, has traveled to the United States of America for a one-week trip.

The trip was organised by Rwandatel, the official sponsor of Miss Rwanda Events and playwright Elizabeth Dewberry, who was on the jury of Miss Rwanda event.

While in the US, the beauty queen plans to hold a press conference and, thereafter, visit the United Nations headquarters, New York City.

"Since I want to develop my career in modeling, I’ll also visit Next Model Agency to get tips on professional modeling skills,” she added.

Bahati, 19, who was overexcited to break the news about her trip, said she was delighted for the invitation and, will use the opportunity to profile her country.

Bahati, a student at Lycée de Kigali, was crowned Miss Rwanda on December 18, 2009.
