Musanze FC have acquired three new expatriate players to beef up their team for the second round of Rwanda Premier League.
The trio namely Shafik Bakaki, Nicholas Ashade Ayomide and Yasser Arafat Tuyisenge each penned a two-year deal on Monday night, January 16, after passing their two-week trials at the club.
Bakaki, 26, is a Ugandan central defender who previously played for Uganda Premier League side Gaddafi FC whereas Ayomide, 22, is a Nigerian attacking midfielder who had stints with Panthers FC, San Pablo, Akonangui and Atletico Semu all in Equatorial Guinea.
Tuyisenge is a 26-year old Burundian central midfielder who previously featured for Atletico New Oil Football Academy in his home country.
Musanze now looks to make the best out of the new signings in the club’s quest to finish in the top ranks of the 2023/24 Rwanda Premier League season.
The Northern Province-based side, which sits ninth on the table with 22 points, returns to the league action with a trip to Muhanga Stadium on Sunday, January 22, where they will face Rayon Sports.
