I must say I am impressed by how Rwandans have taken it upon themselves to address their own problems. First it was the "One dollar” campaign, which saw millions raised to build accommodation for orphans of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. 

Now it is the "bye bye Nyakatsi” which will see Bugesera residents get decent housing.

I have visited Bugesera before, and it is sad to see that there are a number of families still leaving in grass thatched houses. Let us together, come to their help and make the modern housing project a success.

On that note, I would like to thank the musicians who are holding concerts to help support the project. It may take a while, but step by step we shall get there.
